I work as an Economist in the Digital Euro Unit at the Central Bank of Ireland and hold a PhD in Economics from Uppsala University.

My research interests are macroeconomics, primarily monetary policy, banking, and digital payments. My current research agenda revolves around CBDCs, examining their potential macroeconomic impact on financial markets and the real economy.
